Why to separate polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons?

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are volatile hydrocarbons produced when coal, petroleum, wood, tobacco, organic polymer compounds and other organic substances are not completely burned. They are environmental and food contaminants, which are widely found in the atmosphere, water and soil. And more than 200 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons that have been discovered are carcinogenic, so we need to detect polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the environment and food.

Except the peak of naphthalene, anthracene, decene, other peaks can not meet the requirements. And even there’s no peak for a kind of substance.
