Pittcon 2020 was held in Chicago, Illinois at McCormick Place from March 1-5. It is the seventh time for Welch to attend Pittcon.
Pittcon is the world’s leading annual conference and exposition on laboratory science which attracted analytical chemistry, analytical sciences, and biotechnology companies from different countries worldwide.

During Pittcon, Welch also attended Networking Session held by CACA on March 4. CACA is a non-profit organization, which was established on May 12, 2008 during the HPLC’2008 conference in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. For now, CACA has been developing into an organization with more than 2000 members from Universities, Pharmaceuticals, Chromatography vendors, and Government laboratories in US, Canada and China. Influenced by Coronavirus situation, CACA cancelled Networking Dinner Event but held Networking Session as an alternative.
