Ultisil Lead Oxide(PbO2) is a column specially designed by Welch for the detection of malachite green, crystal violet and their metabolite residues. Because the colorless malachite green fails to absorb in the visible, it is necessary to use this column to oxidize colorless malachite green to malachite green, which solves the difficulty of UV detection of colorless malachite green.
