Dr. Luo is known for his customer-centric approach and has advanced ideas in brand positioning, team development, and digital transformation. He is poised to lead Welch Materials through comprehensive innovation and enhancement in the future.

Our extensive range of offerings includes HPLC columns, GC columns, chromatographic packing materials, sample preparation products, protein purification products, laboratory instruments, and general consumables.



Dr. Luo graduated from the Department of Chemistry at Nanjing University in 1987 with a bachelor's degree. He obtained his master's degree in chemistry from Nanjing University in 1990 and subsequently joined the State Key Laboratory of Rare Earth Materials Chemistry and Applications at Peking University the same year. In 1993, he began his part-time doctoral studies under the supervision of Academician Chunhui Huang and received his Ph.D. in 1996.

In 2005, Dr. Luo joined Sepax Technologies in the United States, where he worked on the development of various chromatography column products. In 2007, he was appointed Vice President of Production at Sepax Technologies.

In 2010, he joined the supercritical chromatography technology research department at Waters Corporation, serving as Chief Scientist.

In 2016, he became a Senior Principal Scientist at Advanced Materials Technology, where he led the development of new chromatography products and the research of silica-based beads and related chromatography materials.
